What is the difference between the materials the statuary is made of?

Our statuary comes in 3 different materials; plaster, concrete, and Matrix Dryve. What's the difference? Why the difference in price? Which should I choose? Let's break it down.

1. Plaster is a gypsum that holds details beautifully & is lighter than concrete. It can be sealed for use outdoors, but it will not last as long as concrete outdoors. It will ultimately have to be replaced within a few years of outdoor exposure. For this reason, we STRONGLY recommend our plaster statues only be displayed indoors.

2. Concrete is much more resistant to outdoor elements & holds up for several years, however, it is much heavier which results in slightly higher shipping costs.

3. Matrix Dryve is a polymerized gypsum which ultimately gives the best of both plaster & concrete. It holds up outdoors as well as concrete, but has a lighter weight like plaster. The drawback is that it is more expensive resulting in us having to charge a little more. However, it is fantastic for both indoor & outdoor use.

So, which should you choose when ordering one of our statues, stepping stones, or plaques? It depends on where you plan to display the product & what your budget is. Just keep the information regarding each material in mind when making your decision.
